Intermat 2012 was a huge success for Geith this year, where more than 200,000 visitors passed through its doors. We presented our new range of hydraulic couplers, buckets and rippers, showcasing a specially designed working cut-section coupler to demonstrate Geith’s renowned safety mechanism.

We had an enthusiastic audience at our Safety Standards and Regulations presentations, where the latest information regarding new upcoming regulations was discussed. Safety is a core value at Geith and we are participating in the ISO Working Group aiming to create a new International Quick Coupler Standard. This is scheduled for publication in 2013. It was great to meet so many International visitors at Intermat and we appreciate all the positive feedback about the high quality, design and technology of our products.  Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
 


Despite the changeable weather, crowds came in their droves to see the Geith range of buckets and couplers, including the very successful recently launched QC35-40 hydraulic coupler for 2-4 tonne mini excavators. Contractors, Plant Hire companies and dealers expressed huge interest in the pending new coupler ISO, and the custom designed Geith coupler cut-section which demonstrated our safety mechanism. We received very positive feedback from customers on the reliability of Geith products the trustworthiness of our brand. Overall, it was a very positive event allowing Geith to advise its customers on industry changes and to get valuable feedback from the market, which gives Geith direction and new ideas.



We listen to our customers’ feedback and realise that lead time is a key factor when ordering an attachment. In order to improve our lead time and meet your delivery expectations, we are continuously improving our factory efficiency. Until now we have been carrying a lot of configurations and models with low volume orders, and this has sometimes made it difficult for us to achieve your lead times. Therefore we have rationalised our products offering, and reduced the number of products with low sales volumes. This allows us to improve efficiencies and improve on lead times without any impact on you, our valued customer.
