Geith was founded over 50 years ago in Slane, Ireland. Throughout the years we have seen a lot of change around us, but our motto has remained the same. We are constantly focused on offering our customers the best fit attachments for their specific needs to help them grown and improve.

From our early beginnings as a supplier of buckets and equipment for the land drainage and agricultural sectors in Ireland, we have grown over the years into a reputable manufacturer and global supplier of excavator buckets and attachments for the construction and mining industries.

By optimising our products for OEM machine integration, our attachments will reduce the wear on the machine as well as on the attachment, reduce the need for maintenance and reduce cost of repairs and so lowering the overall costs of ownership of both the machine and attachments.

Our philosophy is directly opposed to many other attachment manufacturers that offer generic products designed to only approximately fit to a number of machines. Product Portfolio

From our site in Slane, Ireland we manufacture mechanical and hydraulic excavator attachments for the construction and earthmoving industries. We offer a full range of products for machines from 1 ton to over 80 ton in weight for a large variety of applications and duty requirements. These environments include light and general construction, road and rail construction as well as quarrying and mining industries. Our products are designed and built to optimise productivity and safety by maximising breakout force and capacity as well as ensuring adherence to the most up to date Machinery Regulation safety standards. This is achieved through our focus on continuous product and process improvement and is further aided by modern design systems and analyses capabilities.

Part of this is achieved through bringing our customers innovative new as well as improved product solutions. Geith’s commitment to Innovation, Research and Development is well known and our record of being first to market with new products and solutions is well documented and is a prime reason for our continued success and expansion of our business on a Global market.

For example, our Auto Lock quick hitch was developed with a main focus on solutions to engage the visual, audio, tactile and reasoning senses of the operator. This will allow an operator complete monitoring of the status of the attachment connection at all times and thus improve situational awareness and site safety. These safety measures are now driving the safety standards within the industry. Further testament to our R&D team is the recent award of our hydraulic Pro-Link Thumb product line as one of the top 100 products in the US according to Construction Equipment magazine. The product has an impressive rotation of 180 degrees which improves the ability to pick up and place material closer to the excavator and with increased accuracy.
